Roles and Responsibilities
• Must have experience in Post Contract, Variation and Procurement
• Contract Management: Seamlessly transition from the tender stage, reviewing contract documents, pricing breakdowns, and scope.
• Budgeting: Develop and manage project budgets in collaboration with the Tender Department and Vendor Management teams.
• Client Interaction: Liaise with client Quantity Surveyors to formalize contract documentation and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Interim Payment Applications (IPAs): Prepare, submit, and negotiate IPAs, including participating in assessment meetings to conclude negotiations.
• Variation Management: Prepare and substantiate variations, ensuring timely follow-ups and negotiations.
• Claims Preparation: Handle dispute-related claims, ensuring all necessary documentation and substantiations are in place.
• Procurement Coordination: Assist the Procurement team with budgeting, vendor finalization, and contract compliance.
• Commercial Correspondence: Work closely with Project Managers to manage variations and handle all commercial correspondence effectively.
• Reporting: Prepare cost and revenue reports, payment logs, variation logs, risk assessments, and other relevant documents.
• Team Collaboration: Guide and support Junior Quantity Surveyors, ensuring accurate quantity take-offs and contract administration.
• Final Accounts & Closeouts: Manage project final accounts and ensure smooth project closure.
